well its unclesr to me if it is really Misato that killed Kaji
if you have proofs pls say so Smile

Watch the director's cut. The scenes are specifically rearranged to suggest that it WASN'T Misato. Also, Anno has publicly stated that she did not shoot him, and it was never his intention for the audience to infer that.

I'm pretty sure it was Pen Pen.

Oh well, if anything, I believe it was Ritsuko. Just as Kaji was the black cat, Ritsuko was supposed to be the white cat ( watch the old lady with the cats scene and remember that Ritsuko had two figurines of cats, one black and one white while muttering those secretive stuff).

are u in ur mind guys? how can a inguin killaman, he doesnt have any "political " role, he was just a at! Besides Kaji said "i've been waiting 4 u.", so he knew that person who killed him, besidis i've had feeling that he knew he would die. Either Ritsuko has killed him or Misato. or maybe it was Ikari or the other person who knows?!

i don't think it was Misato nor Ritsuko (though i wished it was Misato...). Kaji was a double agent. it could've been Seele or Gendou himself.

I'm sure it was not Misato. Ritsuko is a good bet, but I'm not sure. Though it seems to be the most logical explanation.

then if it was pen pen, what did he have against Kaji? the movie maker sais itself that it was of Nerv's AGENTS, AND THEY KILLED KAJI BECAUSE HE KNEW TOO MUCH

It definitely was penpen. He was angry cuz Kaji was screwin Misato and Misato couldn't feed him cuz she was busy lolz.

I read the manga. it was much more clear who killed kaji in the manga. But I won't spoil the fun for you all. ^_^

But in the anime, it's not misato. That is for sure.

So it MUST so OBVIOUSLY have been pen pen. lol

She knew Kaji was a double spy, and she probably knew Gendo and Seele knew this as well. It was only a matter of time, and Misato realized this as well. The message on her phone was just a confirmation of Kaji's death.
