A-S's Kujibiki Unbalance TV Synopsis & Info.
For those who have watched Genshiken, it wouldn't be hard to recognize the title. Yes, it's the manga adapted anime from an anime (does that make sense?)
Genshiken is an anime about otaku and their life, Kujibiki Unbalance was originally a manga within Genshiken world which was later adapted to anime. Does that make any sense now? Watch Genshiken if you still don't understand.
Alright, the TV series - Kujibiki ♥ Unbalance has changed the looks of characters and it is definitely better than the original (Ritsuko ahhh!!!). The story however remains almost the same so if you've watched the OVA, you should be familiar with the term "kujibiki". Rikkyoin High School is a school where everything is decided by drawing lots, hence the name "kujibiki". This will determine a student's position and the group he/she will be placed in.
Our main character, Chihiro Enomoto enters Rikkyoin with his childhood friend, Tokino Akiyama. Unlike Tokino who has been blessed by good luck, Chihiro is what you call an unlucky being (e.g. being "bombarded" by crow's crap on the first day to school). Much to his surprise, Chihiro receives the position of next Sudent Council President while Tokino becomes the Vice President when they drew lots. Along with the Secretary and Treasurer, they are to report to the current Student Council within 24 hours or else they would be expelled from school. Now the problem is that the Treasurer is missing!
Fans of Asahina Mikuru (Suzumiya Haruhi) would be pleased to once again hear the sweet moe voice of hers. An anime packed with action, comedy and romance. Remember to watch Kujibiki ♥ Unbalance!!

O.o
Lucifier since where you were so polite in your speech? 0.0
Well as far as i concern most of the fansubbers that took up this series weren't really good. So I end up having to watch the Raws, but in any cases it seems okok to me. I did watch the OVAs but learn practically nothing since is too short.
Well hope the anime does better for me and for those who watch ONLY Fansubbers Anime, I wish you good luck and hope for some group to take it up instead of 1 man project which turns out to be quite bad in a sense. _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b] |

I have always been polite
Which fansub group do you mean? I watched Freefall's and it was good in terms of encoding and subbing quality. |

| I never liked Genshiken, so I was a little skeptical as to whether or not I should watch this. After reading Lucifer's lengthy post, I became interested in this show's strange concept. It turns out I didn't immediately hate this show, but I thought it was a little extreme in some parts. I will probably watch more of this just to see how it turns out. |

| Hmm. Then I suppose the wait is on for ep. 4 (whatever its official number will be) to be subbed, is it? |

ahh... huh?
OVA - Kujikibi Unbalance has 3 episodes which all have been subbed.
TV - Kujibiki ♥ Unbalance (yes, with the heart sign) has 12 episodes. Currently only ep 1 has been subbed.
Conclusion : OVA NOT EQUAL TO TV series. |

Yup... the OVA is really different from the TV series, btw... where is the Mushroom Girl in the OVA? I don't see her in the TV series T.T _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b] |

just finished watching ep 1, after dled coupled days ago.
Was going to look for more but found.... that it's all a big social experiment...
go check it out yourself at http://freefall-fansubs.blogspot.com/
apparently bunch of old timers wants to know what people's reaction is by putting out a relatively good sub and a relatively bad sub by new groups but was actually done by the same people. I never saw the bad one (lucky me) and I don't intent to now. Althought I wasn't directly effected by this... uhh.. prank(?), it kind of make me feel uneasy, like someone in the position of power is using me as the white mouse... Oh well, I can always watch the raws, just subbed one is easier on my ear and brain.
now this whole thing is over, my main concern is... WHEN IS THE NEXT EP COMING OUT!?!?! hahahahaha
I thought the first ep was great! and I would definately get more. If no more fansub comes out, guess I'll just have to get the raws, or Chinese subs. (those simplified chinese subs are way way way faster then eng subs, usually within 24hr after aired in Japan.) |

Well, i loved it in genshiken, i loved the ovas, and i really love this series after watching 6 episodes im just wondering where to find more and when... Really slow in subtitles like many of the strange series i found this year (amongst them are Tokimeki memorial ~only love~, happiness! and so on) well the thing about this series is that the characters are way to cute and i really love the animation.
Story wise it is kinda extreme but i like strange stuff so enough said this is one of the better seires this year |

So, after seeing this topic, I found and downloaded the first episode. My thought was, the gang would be better off, voluntarily leaving the school and finding a decent one then going through the hassle of the "student council" I mean come on, expelled if you don't qualify? Hell, in that case, expel me now! I'll go to my second choice school rather then put up with that s**t. Lets see how long that policy lasts when group after group get expelled over it. Especially if they get someone with influential parents in the group that refuses to play.
Or maybe I'm just venting because I'm tired. Has been a long day already. Anyway, apparently the one episode is all there is. The rest of this series didn't get subbed. Or at least I haven't been able to find torrents for it, or an active group working on it. |
