In what sense?
Like Naruto series Vs a Naruto Movie?
OR
Princess Mononoke Vs Naruto ?
Anyway I enjoy both, sorta like... I like TV soapies as much as I like movies as in films. So I live anime series as much as I like anime movies.... _________________ Get ready to vote for who you think is the Sexiest Anime Character!! |

personally, i prefer series. because they're longer, you get to sort of "build" a.... okay, this is gonna sound a little retarded. but a closer relationship to all the characters. and to me, the characters are everything xD
you can get away with a completely unoriginal storyline, or even a bad one, as long as the characters are interesting and more importantly, have a personality / some depth.
movies have better storyline, but series have more complex characters (not in all cases tho). so yea, i prefer series ^_^ |

GET A ROOM!!
haha, sorry, had to. anyway, I know what you mean. Even though the art is usually better in a movie, the pacing and character development of a series can't be beat _________________

you know, i was a bit dissapointed in FMA, for making the movie, instead of making season two. I mean, come on! I personally like seasons better. More stuff happening, more room(time wise) to make the story extra in depth. Gotta luv it _________________ What if, the only reason we die, is because we accept death as an inevitability?

lol. trust me when i say that if i could, i would
but back to the topic, the important thing i was trying to say earlier but couldn't figure out was character development xD in any story anywhere, it really is the most important thing as well as the most difficult to do well
edit
i think another season of fma might have been too much... but that movie was definately too short. best case would probably have been something like a 4 ep ova, where each episode is around 50 mins but yea, fat chance of that happening. lol |

well...
it depend on the content of the movie and the series.
If the content of both of them is good. I think I will go with the series, because the story seems more developed and the character is deeper then in movie where there is a sense of rush in the character and story development. |

Well I would say series, i like them best coz i like chasing it up everyweek and if the series is good there's more doses of the loved character and/or action than in movies but it depends on the story really because some stories made are made to be made into a series and some were meant to be made into a movie. Of Course some stories could incorporate both even though it doesn't always seem like the best formula like what you guys mentioned before about FMA and Naruto but there are some good ones like GTO. _________________ Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught. - Sir Winston Churchill |

| I'd have to say series for pretty much the same reasons as everyone else, character and plot development and the extended duration has more potential to draw you in and feel more involved/attached. I usually get the feeling 'I wish it was still going' after a series ends, less-so after a movie finishes. Though I'm not sure if that's because a good series came to such a bad end. |

for me series are much better because the story is more clear, from the beginning till the end. In movie usually we can understand the situation around the middle scene right? _________________ Whatever the past has been, has been the past...
