I'm actually quite surprised about how much hype I've seen from others about this particular game, yet nobody's created a thread for it yet.
Maybe you're just too busy to make the thread?
Simply put, there's a ton of unique and amazing elements that are placed in this game, such as the Wind Waker-ish drawing and the ultimate fact that throughout the entire game, you're playing as a goddess-reincarnated wolf (or is it a wolf-reincarnated goddess?). I'll the rest for you all to discover the other elements of this game.

| I had heard about it along time ago and found it interesting looking. I just never took the initiative to go and get it. Might have to rent it just to see how it turned out. |

At first I wasn't too big of a fan on the art style that the game took on (and btw, I personally hated WInd Waker very much), but then once you play the game you begin to understand that the art work fits perfectly, almost too perfectly. I think that it is a game to buy and own and to cherish. I played through it twice, just to make sure I got to see everything there was to see, and it really was a worthwhile experience. Yes, I know that there is barely any replay value, but the sheer beauty from the gaming experience to me, was well worth while. The only thing that I thought was a bit annoying, or rahter somewhat of a hinderance was the language they used in the game. I mean I'm totally cool with different languages, but at times I thought that it was too clunky, or sometimes sounded too childish, kind of like lacked any sophistication. But in the end, I think that this is one of the better games released this year. _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |

I finally broke the plastic-wrap on my copy. I've played the first 30 minutes of it... very odd indeed. I didn't think it would be so RPG-ish, but I like the battle-style. The paintbrush is much easier to use than people warned me about... though circles to make the sun are a pain in the ass.
I love the background music... it really suits the era the game is set in. The weird noises people make when they speak reminds me of Ocarina of time.
Naming the sword "Tsukuyomi" made me instantly think of vampire loli-goth catgirls.... I wonder why? _________________

Well I've been eyeing this puppy for quite a while and I've jsut realised the game was made by Clover who also released Viewtiful Joe. Now saying that, for one thing I was not expecting any puns of any kind to be integrated into the game. Boy was I suprised.
Can you imagine an old npc going Akuma style on some cake.
Reviewers on other board have complained of the low difficulty on the game but I guess that is forgiveable so long as there's something out there that makes us go wow the moment we start the game |

| I haven't played it myself but I watched my boyfriend play it a couple times and it looks pretty good. I agree with him though it reminds me a lot of twillight princess just because of the whole wolf as main character thing. Even though your not a wolf the whole time in Twillight Princess. I'll probably give it a try sometime. |

When I got Okami, I got hooked to it and couldn't stop playing. I was sad and all when I finished it only two days after. _________________ A-S Staff : Kindly resize your sig to the permitted size, visit README forum
