I was totally put off from Princess Tutu. Because of the name. Now I might look into it.

There is an anime i watched a long time ago called 3X3 eyes it's pretty gory but has a good story line i don't know if it's rare or not but you would enjoy watching it.

a super duper cute series, "mystical" is what I think of when refering to these series. Snce this looks quite childish it's not watched by many. It's awfully cute and inspiring though

i dont know if its really rare but i thought Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien was really good. Also Sgt. Keroro is pretty funny

One of my favorite and rare anime, I would definately reccomend GOKUSEN! Its based on the manga ofcourse. Its kinda like the girl verson of GTO where the teacher is a female and it also involves yakuza. Its basically a comedy/action/highschool/Yakuza anime...imo thats a pretty good combination. Unfortunately, anime is only 13 eps long but manga is still continuing to release. So do try watching it, I m sure a lot of ppl will like this one!

This young boy has to go to space and collect this colored balls for his sword. Unfortunately I'm not to clear since it's a long time that I watch this.

Curious Play/Fushigi Yuugi
The creator is clamp. The main creator, Mieka went into a story book and found out that she become the Suzaku warrior and her friend become her enemy unfortunately. Anyway, she met Tamahome the supposed guardian for her but, she fall in love with him.
The characters in this have chinese infigures somewhere on their body as a symbol for what their type of power is.

Gatekeeper
The story is about two childhood friends meeting together again only to find out that the're to fight aliens together with a few others. The female lead character is Ruripe and Ukiya-kun. Although they always look as if they're fighting, truth is tehy're really close. Anyway they have these superpowers and they fight a robot in the end with their bare hands, it's a pretty cool anime, I like it. Unfortunately, it has been a long time that I get to watch it.

I've SEEN of most of those anime, and I'm quite impressed someone else has too.

Princess Tutu - Since I'm a guy, I thought, "Meh, this is probably for little girls... ain't gonna watch it." But when anime got scarce, I decided to give it a try. I have to say, it's quite funny and mysterious in its own little way. Duck is an adorable and lovable character, but she is such a clutz.

Angelic Layer - This was another series I thought was for little girls. After watching it, I thought, "Man, I wish I had toys like those when I was younger." It's all right, although, some of the characters can get annoying.

Super Girls! - After watching the first 4 episodes of this, I questioned myself, "Are girls in Japan really like this?" Although I find this anime funny and a bit touching at times, the main character Ran got annoying pretty fast in all those episodes. I'm thinking that's how the creators wanted her to be, so I dealed with it. I enjoy the comedy of this anime, even though it's another anime targeted for girls, IMO. >.>;

Man... I've been watching too much anime that was made for the ladies. <.<; Must... watch... Golden Boy... now... -runs off-

out of the animes you've listed i've only seen kkj and well it was a big let down i dunno why but i was kinda expectin something more from the show
