after playing bits and pieces of SRW alpha 3, i highly recommend one to search for space runaway ideon. it was created and directed by yoshiyuki tomino, the same person who created mobile suit gundam. it's been said that hideaki anno's neon gensis evangelion was influenced heavily on ideon, because both titles deal with the same issues and similar themes. here's a link to check more of space runaway ideon:
