Good ps1/2 multiplayer games?

Looking for good multiplayer for ps1 and ps2. Played Gauntlet Seven Sorrow, X-men legends I & II, Legend of mana, Champions 2. Most of them were only so so, so we're looking for something more worth it, with co-op play.

the 1s thing that springs to my mind is sports games but i dont play those much, you can try the dynasty worriors series for co-op mode, its simple and immediate..

i personally like multi player games. like game cube and stuff. but 2 players work too

What about Timesplitters series? All of them, thats a good FPS multiplayer action. And its fun, no more with the tricky hand skill thingy just like Counter Strike...

Is Mortal Kombat Shaolin monks really that a good game? I wanna try that since last year, but I doubt if I became disappointed in that game. Now it didnt sell here anymore... Confused

well, gameplay is similar to Streets of Rage, you can do fatalities along the way, its not the best but my firend and i enjoyed it (the cutscenes along with voice acting is a bit cheesy though)

shaolin monks is a little boring for one player, but excellant for two, altho you may need to have a background on the mk universe, for me the last mk fighting game i played was mk3 and that was enough to get what's goin on in there..
