*Shrugs* Guess it only means we like the supporting characters more than some of the main ones in the anime. Besides, this would be the first time her character would be 'in the spotlight'. Hope that answers your question.

Didn't notice that...Seems like she's taking a supporting role this time. I'm glad that Mamiko Noto's talents are in this, though.

Episode two was better than I expected...
I never thought they would be able to bring out the mood of humor so well in the anime from the manga. That part where Miu 'trains' Kenichi was quite entertaining. As expected from a fighting anime, where the thoughts of the characters are mapped out even as they do something (while fighting, or training).
Bring on the next subbed episode. I can't wait.

I only saw the first ep., but damn it was good! A good fighting anime came out! I don't think there's been one for a while.. or i wasn't interested in it.

Agreed - this one looks like it can be promising. I get a feeling that it's like Hajime no Ippo with martial arts - though it'll need to keep the pace and character development up in order to match it.
It's taking a while for ep 3 to come out isn't it? |

| After watching the first 3 episodes of this anime I decided to look for the manga. It was a bit hard to find scantalations, but I finally came upon some of them following up to volume 5. D: I'm wondering if anyone has scanlations passed volume 5 or if the manga is licensed and being sold anywhere? |

Episode 3 was great. The excellent mix of action and humor and the arrangement of whimsically serious parts which degenerate into humorous scenes were done pretty well, as expected from the manga. I never thought it would prove to be practically just as funny as the manga itself when animated.
Too bad there's only a little of Shigure, though I understand this episode was meant to introduce the Shirahama family-with hilarious results, mostly thanks to Kototsugu. Looks like Kisara's appearing in the next episode. Can't wait.

Except for the contacts part, it's all correct. Last I recalled from the anime series so far and from the manga, Miu's glasses didn't even have a degree at all. 
Thank God someone managed to drag this up somehow. Maybe we can all talk more about this fun little series.
