| One of THE FUNNIEST anime series this fall. Don't miss it. It's HYSTERICAL!!! The Main character is so darn funny, the story is a little cliche, but it makes up for it with the comedy. |

Whoa! I am definitely liking this. OMG Miu is my idol from now on.
The anime version definately seems toned down compared to the manga. Lot less details to the body... if you know what i'm talking about...
This anime has introduced me to the manga, so while waiting for the next episode, I think I'll look for the manga.
But anyways... good lord... what a body. << talking about the manga version. |

Trust me: Those who pick this one up with little knowledge of it otherwise are going to be happy. Everything in a fighting anime is in it: Humor, action, madness...(The romance factor doesn't come into the play that much, though) .
@ silverkitsune: 'What a body' is correct. Still, it's pretty interesting how things have started to develop in the earnest with each volume. I'll be following the anime version to see how it goes. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97] |

This show looks like is going to be hilarious. Go Miu-chan! kick some ass in all aspects! Including cuteness!
Poor Kenichi seems doomed from the start. I like the take on events. And if we're getting nicer bodies in the manga... I also going for it! (although, the anime is also quite nice). _________________

I pick this series up thinking of another remake of Ikkitousen with endless fan service... boy how am I so wrong but nevertheless the comedy is quite entertaining. Is quite a shame that the hero is a nobody but strive to be somebody... there's too much of such hero out there that it tends to get a little boring. I would prefer if the hero starts of as Somebody -> Nobody -> Somebody back again style.
Well yea... Miu is cute... and boy who is her seiyuu? She is adorable... it also seems like her house is not a Dojo for Karate only... well then again... seeing the hero with such coward personality. It'll be entertaining... oh and too bad no fanservice... T.T
P/S: Where do you guys get the manga? O.o I'm interested =P _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b] |

Yah, i forsee the dojo being the best part of this series. I like the idea of a hideway dojo/housing complex full of crazy martial artist.
I can also forsee some hilarious and crazy training techniques in the same vein as yakitate japan. |

Oh... nice one... never thought of that. It'll sure give a great punch if it were be so out of the world like yakitate japan... but then again... no Fan Service... _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b] |

To clarify some things....
The manga was bought for me here...All 21 volumes of it, and the next one's coming in in the next few weeks. I'm pretty sure you can find scanlations as well, though. Take a look around the normal downloading sites. You should find an answer or two there.
As for fanservice...
Well, I recall seeing a panty-shot with Miu when she jumped up high into the air against the gangsters in episode 1, which I recently just watched.
They most certainly would have to tone down much of it from the manga, though.
As for the seiyuus...*Big surprises ahead *
Kenichi's seiyuu is Tomokazu Seki. Yes, I repeat, Tomokazu Seki...The same seiyuu who has taken on cool roles like Sagara Sousuke from FMP, Yzak Joule from the GS series, Ryuuki Shi from Sauinkouku Monogatari and Gilgamesh from F/S N, just to name a few. I would never have believed the whiny main character would have such a seiyuu until I saw it.
As for Miu's seiyuu...She would be Tomoko Kawakami, for notable for her roles as Misuzu Kamio in Air, Rosette Christopher in Chrno Crusade and Sayuri Kurata from Kanon 2006.
It's yet another pleasant surprise (especially since I like Sayuri's character), but thanks to Yuun and the familiarity of her voice, I checked it out.
Thoughts on episode 1:
Whiny as Kenichi might seem, he was extremely entertaining, which was yet another pleasant surprise. I had thought I would have my fill of weakling, whiny male leads, but Kenichi was practically as enjoyable a character as he is in the manga. Of course, his facial expressions and reactions played a great part...
In the aspects of girls, I would guess currently it would be Miu Furinji and Konoka(sp?) Shigure. Personally I prefer Shigure, though. Still, it's the anime we're talking about here. I guess one or two more episodes wouldn't hurt before making a real concrete judgement on which one's teh hottest.
Crazy training techniques: check.
Stupid one hit kill moves that require just 'Guts' and 'Ideals': Hopefully not in, since it was never in the manga in the first place.
Anyway, yet another great anime for humor and fighting fans. Is it just me, or are the shows this fall focused mainly on humor? We've even got high school madness from Code Geass, sarcastic wit from Death Note and the normal craziness from Kanon 2006 etc... _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97] |

Oh... so you bought the manga? Hmm... mayb I should drop by in the capital states to check it out. Tokyopop and imported manga never make it to this tiny little island I'm living in so i have to travel to other states which sells it... about 350km away i suppose. Sigh~~
I hook it up for the fansub ver. but it requires IRC, it has been ages since I last login into IRC, gotta find some time to get it then...
It seems like the characters isn't that much so it would be a nice development. At least thats wat i think... Bout the seiyuu I happen to look it up and I wasn't too surprised since practically all the anime that Tomoko and Seki work I watched. I'm not much of a manga fan, anime all the way... but I would like to hook up some nice manga onces in a while but later to regret that many group drops the project half way or simply too slow in their release. Best example would be Record of The Fallen Vampire, I'm stiil hunting for the manga but it seems like there's haven't been any company out there translate it into English ver. so I can't buy. Futhermore the group isn't making any progress at all... zzz... kurushii~~ _________________ [img:800:198:5c85a10b1b]http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1347/feenasighk3.jpg[/img:5c85a10b1b] |

I dunno why you guys rave so much about Miu's seiyuu with so much enthusiasm. I know she has pretty decent history, but her voice never was the one to take up the spot light, almost always one of supporting characters.
As far as I'm concerned, only notable seiyuu in this series would be Mamiko Noto taking the role of Shigure. I've been her fan ever since I took notice of her work in Yamibou.
I usually don't talk much about male seiyuu anyways. Only exceptions being: Tomokazu Sugita (Kyon fame from Suzumiya Haruhi) and Norio Wakamoto (keeping track of him ever since I saw 2x2=shinobuden's Onsokumaru).
So if they're not in it, i don't take notice of male seiyuu's. |

Hey. If we're talking seiyuus here you must not forget about Hiroya Ishimaru, the guy who is doing Apachai. "who's that?" the man who voiced Kabuto in Mazinger Z. Oh... the good old times of Mazinger Z.... Nostalgia! *cries* _________________
