yeah unfortunately Ghost Hunt seems to have flown under the radar for the majority of the online community, which is a real shame considering the atmosphere created in the anime is possible one of the creepiest ones i'm ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

Episode 5 and 6, definitely Ring inspired. They even had a well that the spirit was trapped in!

I quite agree with you this is really a work of art in the X-Files' style. However something that I find funny is that Mai cannot stop dreaming about Naru and this often gives clues as to the solution of the problem SPRC is facing. The other characters are not quite conventional too. Between the narcissic miko, the cute priest and the not bald monk with some sharp remarks and the taciturn Naru and his collaborator. This leads without a doubt to a rather explosive mix.

With episode 7 finally coming out in fansubs, I'm torn. On the one hand I really want to watch this episode, on the other, I want to wait for episode 10 so I can watch the whole arc at once.

This is such a great show, easily one of my favorites this season. Spooky, creepy, and fun.

Me too. Eps 8 and 9 have followed quickly, but no 10 yet. Might hold off until it does get released. Hopefully it won't be another month's wait! Razz

This arc's culprit was pretty easy to figure out...You're right Kidder. Heh, Naru is a tricky little guy with the spoon. XD

atleast episode 11 is a stand alone episode no need to wait for other ones. I like this one puts a funny side to the anime

Watched till ep 10.

This is one series that is different from the rest, in a good way. It was a bit slow in the frist few episodes but it has picked up the pace nicely now. I like this anime, for the obvious reason that it deals with the paranormal. It has also so far introduce us to different hauntings.

Thanks wavemaster for telling that ep 11 is a stand alone. Lol, now I know I can watch it instead of waiting for the next few episodes.

bing...bing...bing... haha.a.its one of the few anime that give that to me!
but what i like is that each spirit has there own sad story...

Episode 15 SUCKS! All I will say is that there is a HUGE Cliffhanger, and its a bad one. Definitely wait til Episode 16 is released before watching 15. Horrible.

Ok, I take it back. The episode itself was actually really good, and really creepy. Probably the creepiest since 5 or 6. But that cliffhanger at the end....

The last arc, the one that just finished up, is my favorite so far. The one that took place at a school. Man, each epi makes me want to watch the next one more.

Anybody else think the new OP has added a huge amount to this anime? I already loved the music for it before the change, but it was just a little dull on the visuals front. Not any more! They have used a lot of horror clichés for the new intro, but they've done them really slickly. Never mind the episodes, I got chills just from watching that green thing suddenly resolve into a ghost first time through!

Yeah, the added visuals really do add an extra bit of flavor just before you get to watch the show.
