If I watched anime just because it's anime, then yeah, I'd get pretty bored with it; just as I'd get bored with TV in general if that's all I did all day.

But it's not like that, it's more of a case-by-case scenerio. Anime series to me is just like any good or bad program that you might get hooked on or reject. If you like the show, you watch it; if you don't, you stop. It isn't an obsessive hobby for me. I'm just looking out for good shows to watch during parts of my free time.

Lately I have been getting bored of anime because most of the time, all animes have a manga counter-part that does not leave out anything, and if the anime is an ongoing series the manga is ahead so I tend to read the manga version of any anime.

I do still watch ongoing series such as bleach, and naruto, but other then that I usually read the manga version.

i guess to some extent i will be bored with anime...

if i see shows with identical stuff with a previous anime that would surely bore me.. unless they come up with something innovative to make them unique.. Very Happy

There will always be clich in anime... if it works in other anime, its where the money lies....
Its good to switch genre every now and then....

YAAY!!!!!! Its my first post on ur thread duk!!!!!! ^___^

Well for me I don't really get bored of it since I don't like watch it everyday.

Obviously anime is going to get cliche sometimes I mean the whole market has explored so many different genres that it would be hard to come up with another.

The only thing they can do is bring a new story, do something innovative, or just combine two genres to get ppl interested

I think it all depends on how well the storyline is.

you just got to take your time selecting the right one.

wait.....are you talking about watching anime on tv or downloading them and watching them.

Because that is two different thing.

Personally I find a lot of anime had much more potential to grow.. it's just that the flaws is what making it poor.
Well I dunno if it'll be boring, but I feel that if all animes can remove their small and silly flaws, the anime as a general has much more market.

I'm not talking about a single anime, but the whole media as a whole.

well there's alot of choices. considering that anime/manga is a spare time thing like i guess a hobby that you would do for 2 hours daily. then i would replace it with playing mmorpgs. cuz prior to getting addicted to anime/manga i used to play nearly every mmorpgs out there, u name it i prolly played it. So i guess i would go back to that like silkroad, runescape, maplestory , gunbound, gunz, rakion, nostale, rose online, and all that grinding games.. but then again some people would get bored of that too. if all else fails and you are bored out of your mind i say you should pick up drawing as a hobby, that would evolve into photoshopping it and makin cool stuff..

here are what i got bored of, look at it as an evolution of my [hobbies/thing i liked/did as spare time] as i grew up and got me addicted too. All these killed like 5 years of my life =) and like $2000 in spendings or more:

pokemon cards > yu-gi-oh cards > 'video games' in general >
RPGs > halo > MANGA > drawing > neopets.. (i was addicted) > runescape > 'mmorpgs' in general > maplestory > photoshop cs >
skating (skateboard) > bboying (breakdancing) >
tagging (graffiti) > anime/more manga

yea so right now i am on 'anime' as my current time killer/hobby
which led me to find this site! I guess our tastes in thing we like to do mature as we grow up..

No I don't get bored of Anime ever I guess.

Your problem is imo that you spend way too much time watching Anime. You should enjoy a good series and not watch it in one - two days otherwise you get bored of the genre pretty fast I guess which would be sad...

Cheerio
