PS3ing Ourselves

Ok so guys this is how it stands so far between the next gens so far:

PS3- has the highest graphics processor, has blu-ray, backwards comp, but for graphics u need a new HD tv to use it and if its an old model HD it suks, the blu-ray is said by many business mags that it will benefit sony and beat the other systems in the long run. The backwards comp, well that is obviously not fixed yet but once it is its going to beat the other systems definitely. Also on the blu-ray it has more space on it to put more things and once developers get the hang of it(which won't be 4 a little while) will be the best games in terms of more better graphics and musics etc...

X-box360- It has been out longer, as to fix most problems, has the best online playability, has a decent selection of high power games to back it up, uses a chip to run. X-box using a chip to run stifles any chance it had of competing and improving its graphics and etc. game wise it has an ok selection and a few loyal fab-base like for the DDX2 or Halo 3, Gears and such other than that nothing else is so good. Plus u must get a seperate external drive to watch HD. The future of americas TV usage.

Wii- the nintendo's ace is that it always appeals to the broader market ie the family or kids friendly games. ITs revolutionary motion sensor controls are something. And the games backing are a good contenders like the famous zelda games which have gotten perfect ratings be4. THIS SYSTEM is for all the average gamers who want to have fun or the family who wants to fun. In comparison wit other systems this system is not the best system. In terms of graphics quality its even worse than ps2, they should have at least made it on par with ps3 graphics. its online play is nearly non-exsistent. Wat sets this system apart is the price, motion sensing capabilities and its attempt to get more broader market.

OK OK OK i rest my arguing on this topic just wanted rant a little

and I know that gamecube has better graphics than ps2 srry. I compared the two systems specs on a shopping site. Well I think i'll stop ranting here and just talk normally!!!! Very Happy

yea also srry bout the wii and gamecube being kiddy I know it has tons of games that r mature but when I sometimes c the games that come out for I wonder y they make it for it -____-

The reason you see kiddy game? Quite simply they want to appeal to multiple audiences. Quite possibly the reason they sold more Wii's in hte first 3 days of it's release than PS3's sold alltogether, and the Wii is still sold out ad you can still find PS3's around in some stores.

What shopping network did you get your info from? I want to rip them a new one.

I have to disagree with the statement that the 360 only has shooters, let alone just games like GeOW, Halo, GRAW, etc. What about 3rd person games like Dead Rising, Resident Evil 5, Lost Planet, and Armored Core 4?...Or RPGs like Olivion, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Mass Effect, and Bioshock? These games are the reason that I got a 360, and they do not neccessarily make the 360 a console solely for FPS and shooters.

I have a PS3 also, and quite frankly, I'm only excited for a small handful of games: MSG4, FFXIII, DMC4, and White Knight Story. The launch games were horrible (Resistance being the sole exception), and the only games worth getting, in my opinion, this year are Metal Gear and Virtua Fighter 5. As powerful as the PS3 supposedly am over the 360, I'm quite disappointed by the lack of games so far for the system.

P.S.- I also forgot to mention RTS games like Battle for Middle Earth and C&C: Tiberium Wars for the 360...
