With the announcement of a poll for the 2006 animes, I got to wondering about a must watch list. I've got a bunch that I'm watching, a few others that I started and dropped. Others that I've finished watching, and finally a few that I've started, but haven't yet finished.
Here is my list. Feel free to add your own.
I hope these are all 2006 Animes. I think they are.

meh, it's too early. We're all too busy discussing technical junk at this point, but if you all wanna talk about it here, go for it. Poll won't be open for business until after the new year anyway.

Heh, thank you. I don't spend that much time watching anime. Pretty much just a few hours a week on my days off.
I do need to amend my list. I went back and rewatched the first 3 episodes of Bokura ga Ita. Its starting to grow on me. I may end up taking another look at that show.
So what is on everyone elses list? |

wow... first post and already out of topic...
I think we are talking about "animes that are made in 2006 what the possible outcomes of the poll" instead of "what anime do you like?"
While Naruto and Bleach are still releasing episodes this year I dun think they fit into this year's category...
(nvm, all newb make mistakes anyways ^.^) |

My picks for must watch 2006 would be... (Series that finished their run in 2006 only, we really gotta wait for current season to end in order to do this properly) *'s are ones I especially liked and recommend.

Shuffle! (pretty much last year's considering it finished on Jan 5th, 2006)

Fate/stay Night (I'm pretty disappointed with it, but still better than most anime)

Jigoku Shoujo (last few episodes made it worth while following this boring series)

*Eureka seveN (definite MUST! not just for 2006, if you call yourself an anime fan, you cannot skip this)
Whew, wow that's a lot... more than I expected. Those were just the ones that I think are essential watch for 2006...
probably 1/5 of what I watched... rest of 4/5 being garbage to me.
We need best/worst 2006 anime poll or something...
If I pick top 5, they would be... in this order:
1. Eureka seveN
2. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu
3. Mushishi
4. Muteki Kanban Musume
5. Ouran High School Host Club

add black lagoon 2 to the finsh and most wach list.
and... i think that Soukou no Strain and Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch will be the most wach that didnt end .  happy new year to all .  |
