Zaphikel's intro

Since I've been fighting a losing battle with insomnia all night long I decided I might as well type this up and post it. Hi, I'm Zaphikel. I've got a ton of nicknames and don't use my real name save for things that need to be done in real life. I forgot how I found anime source other than I was searching for something completely unrelated and saw that it looked relatively interesting. I signed up and just read the manga, I lurked on the forums but never posted anything til I started reading the manga again.

I only recently moved to San Diego. I'm still adjusting Occasionally I get homesick for good old New York City. I'm a former college student who was an English major until I got sick of how I wasn't learning anything and moved here. I live with my roommate and friend Jake along with our two kittens Odin and Athena. If we ever have a fight I can only imagine that the battle for ownership of these two will be epic! I wanted a puppy originally but changed my mind when I saw these two adorable little bengal kittens. I adore animals and tend to get along with them better than most people because I'm extremely sarcastic.

I like many things and am always up for trying new stuff because I can always use entertainment. I'm a writer though I've not finished or published any of my books. I did get a few short poems into my college literary thing but that doesn't really count for me. I've been looking to make my own comic for quite some time now but have yet to get an artist. My work lies in and around all genres because I find sticking to one boring.

That's about all I can think of for now, so to finish up let me just once again say hi, and that I hope to enjoy myself on these forums.

Oh, and I think their names are just too cool. Cooler than what my cat has... My cat's name is Mamu. Confused

stick with the rules and you will be just fine.. Long_Gun might come along and post the link but if ever you can just go find them for yourself at the Forum FAQs and Readme.txt section of the forums.. Very Happy

basically there are three main don't here... don't spam, don't flame, and don't double-post (or any other multiple posting for that matter)... and one liners are discouraged too...

in any case.. bear this rules in mind so as not to get into trouble with any of the higher ups (now distinguishable by that little bar thing below their ranks (moderator, admin, etc.)

so yeah...

hope to see you around the forums more often... its a good thing you started coming out of your lurking mode and i hope you continue to be active in the forums.. Very Happy

Thanks for the welcome. As for the naming of the cats, I tried to give them dozens of names but those two were the ones they meowed at, so they stuck.

I don't find this welcoming committee all that scary...maybe I'm just as strange as all of you...

Kitty pictures? Maybe just one. The grey one (Odin) is hard to photograph, but the coffee coloured (Athena) one likes it.
