Having trouble coming up with a New Years resolution? Make it an Anime Resolution!

It's easy! In the spirit of trying out new things, give an anime you never gave a chance.... A CHANCE!

Options:
1. Pick an anime that you never even watched the first episode for because you thought it looked lame. Watch the ENTIRE anime.

or, if you're feeling more adventurous
2. Pick a genre that's "not for you" and try at least 5 animes out in that genre this year.

or, for those pure of anime heart
3. Make a resolution to watch EVERY anime that airs this year. At least 3 episodes... regardless of how awful it is.

I'm going with option number 3 for my Anime Resolution for 2007!
How about you?

the first option kinda a waste of time to me of cource XD.
the second option ..pick genre thats not for me and watch 5 episods thats much O_o ...."thinks" no way!!

so im going with option number 3 since its much better than the others.

I tried but no responds
once the anime begins me:
*sigh*....grrrr...."when is it going to finish"
so lets not do this option
actually if no one stopped me then im gonna go crazy.

cause im bored..

Option 1: is good... lotsa shounen action shows I brush off aside (One Piece, Bleach, Shaman king etc.) coz I had gotten sick of them lately... adn they just go on forever though I'm not picking up Naruto anytime soon Laughing

Option 2: similar to the one above I s'pose

Option 3: I really want to...but it's technically not possible for my computer to do so TT^TT

So yeah Option 1 and 2 ...

I like my current anime watching habit just fine thank you.
I don't have preference to any genre, I do check out the first episode at least when a new anime comes out. I have my own way of picking up a series, and if there was one that was worth watching but I missed, I'd read about it some where and I'd try and watch that series.
Few years back, I'd be pretty picky about which series to watch, but thanks to the advent of bit torrent, it's lot less hassle to download fansubs now.

This year I did that with Rurouni Kenshin. I thought I am definitely going to hate it given that I hate action anime, but I ended up really enjoying it.

On Christmas last year, my friends forced me to watch Gundam Seed. I have been avoiding every mecha anime for almost two years because I hate robots! Then I ended up really loving this show and after Gundam Seed, I found myself really enjoying mecha genre more than I used to.

Of course, it doesn't work all the time. I tried to watch a shounen-ai anime for the first time last two weeks. And...ugh, I better stop talking about it. Don't want to share the horrible experience.

No. That is something which I will not do. I am very careful of what to watch, let alone that there are some crap which I will utterly refuse to watch such as the 999th season of Digimon, Bedaman, or some hentai/yaoi anime *pukes* ... no-no for this idea for me.

I'm very much like silver. There's nothing I don't really watch or hate. In fact, at the moment I'm watching Serial Experiment Lain, Macross Plus, Bleach, and Mahoromatic. All belonging to very different genres. Quite a daunting prospect, now that I think about it.

i have my own anime resoultion.

#Q - Go to a anime database site, like www.animenewsnetwork.com
Then i'll search for a anime that was released sometime in the 80's. then go to a torrent site, boxtorrent or torrentspy (or request it here ar A-S) and find it; watch it; and see what you think.

i think a lot of the modern animes, although really good, leave somethingt o be desired. so i came up with this aobut 2 years ago, and that's how i found Slayers, one of the best animes of all time. hands down. if you say inuyasha i will fight you.

My New Year's resolution was to not make any stupid New Year's resolutions Razz .

In terms of all that anime stuff, thought, my resolution would probably have to be to watch less, because as much as it hurts, its nice to be able to afford things like, oh, food and rent. And I don't have my own computer yet so I can't download any.
