If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
I just recently downloaded the first Saiyuki season, but they were all .ogm files. I can't view them with windows media; however, I was able to watch them using vlc media player.
To make long story short, the video files came with subtitle files as well (.ssa). But when I play it with the vlc player, it can play both japanese audio and english audio, BUT it could not run the english subs.
My problem in being, I'd like to watch it in Japanese audio with english subs. I've even tried using the avi video converter (because usually it would automatically convert and install the subtitles directly into the video file being converted), but when i tired that method, the subtitles did get installed into the video, but I ended up loosing the Japanese audio option.
.........can someone help me? know of a converter that will allow me to have have the english subs play directly int he video when i'm watching it in Japanese audio?

Tomo Arigato Gozaimasu. ^_^
You can try playing it inside Media Player Classic that you can get when you try to install some of the codec packs available in the net.
One that I recommend is CCCP if you do not want to have a lot of problems. Make sure that you uninstall all of your codecs inside your PC and then restart your PC before you install CCCP.
You can download it HERE _________________ Innocent Tranquility

.ogm is just like .avi except its an upgraded version if you have the codecs for .avi files you should be able to open it in realplayer or you could configure windows media player to do the same for a small setback (if you were to configure windows media player you wouldnt be able to change language or audio like in Media player classic
i dont recamend that to be used it has caused my computer to need to be crashed and rewritten more than seven times. it tends to cause program errors. i think the Klite Mega Media Codec pack would be a beter choice _________________ Want advice DONT WORK AT WALMART... Theres your freebie...
