I have tried this in another anime forums before, and I found lots of great recommendations .. so I'm gonna try it here as well.

Nominate one anime (it can be more, but please try to stick it to one) of each genre which you like most. Also, please try your best to nominate one title for one genre only. For example, if you nominate 'Elfen Lied' for horror already, do not nominate it again for drama or action!
