Why do you watch anime?

To live vicariously through the main character/ the impossible/ the supernatural...

To me, real life sometimes suck... not that I hate my life or anything bc I do have alot of fun partying = )... But I sometimes wish that there were super powers and heros bc if you really think about it... where are the real heros at? Lying politicians/a secretive govt that could really be making genetically engineered super soliders or purposely abusing power to gain more wealth? haha... no but for real, who do we have to look up to as a hero who we can actually consider moral and amicable towards all man kind. Someone that's willing to take action and show their strength in the face of adversity.

I find anime as a way to escape to that world. And what better life than being a hero, getting the girl, and becoming a legend. Its great to think about but the reality is that we can't live that lifestyle that we seek vicariously so we might as well enjoy it through incredible art, flawless women with the best personality real life has never seen, awesome twist and turns, a whole assortment of impossible situations overcome by determination! ANIME! I'm such a nerd... haha!

Lets through away all the guns and bombs and go back to the lifestyle of living with the sword! HAHA! ANIME! Now I'm a dork! : )

I can connect with some animes, you know. The ones where the main character has been single his whole life, and how it seems like nothing good is gonna happen.

Also, I watch it because it never almost never relates to real life, it is almost always a sci-fi action. Its the way I want my life to be, and it keeps my imagination running.

I watch anime for an abundant variety of genres, complex characterization, intricate, well-paced storylines, and/or yummy fanservice

these is my reaso why i Love to watch Anime.

Example.
1. because we love to Watch Anime, also manga series.
2. cause we enjoy to watch the crucial moment of the scen.
3. and also we love to sketch and write some story of the Anime tha we like.

It's entertaining.

Anime is one of my source of contentment. It's related to life drama and it's pretty to look at the same time. Also anime characters are so flawless, they son't have pimples or big noses or ugly features. It's so colorful that it's captivating and it connects me and I can also relate to the character.

My reason is just because I like it. The stories, the characters, the colors; all of it. There are no restrictions in anime so your imagination can go wild. To see yourself in some of the characters you are watching then understand. thats all there is for me. It just really amazes me how you can relate to some characters and their situations.

Coz i like it, love it, desires it. Quite a boring life without animes around, maybe it's also a way to relieve stress or maybe escape from reality?

I read manga and watch anime because Japanese culture interests me.
I want to know more about Japan, I want to know their language.

there's a lot of reasons why i watch anime:

1. there's more continuity in the story compared to things like... disney *wrinkle nose* so it keeps me intrigued.
2. there's character development - no one is totally good and no one is totally evil
3. the quality is excellent - the ones that i've seen anyway Very Happy
