well as stated above i need to buy new memory for my computer. it has a max limit of 2Gigs but i cant find the right kind i need. it uses DDR2 Memory but all the ones that i find are full size however i have a half size chip in side my computer currently. i have an Acer Aspire 3100-1556 (Notebook) and i need to know the difference between the half size and full size (how do i find half size) _________________ Want advice DONT WORK AT WALMART... Theres your freebie... |

| If the slots on your laptop are only half-sized, then that'd be the ones you should go for. They'll still be the same size, and what amount of ram are you hoping to upgrade to. I suggest looking for them online for deals, like newegg, or tigerdirect (sorry if i'm not suppose to post that). |

i know but my ram is only half sized compared to my desktop ram chip
i looked on tigerdirect but i can only find the same size as in my desktop
i am hopeing to upgrade to 1 GB from 512Mb _________________ Want advice DONT WORK AT WALMART... Theres your freebie... |

| Haha, no need to go up to 2GB, lol. I agree, notebook memory does seem more expansive than desktop memory, altho i did pay more than 100+ for 1 Gig of desktop memory(2x512 sticks). Hm.. try www.pricewatch.com too if you'd like, they offer a price comparison on many different websites. |
