good news Source will change its gameplay and the map itself for this upcoming week right now... Bad news for the CS 1.6 players out there but good news at the same time. Source will retain the original gameplay of CS 1.6 in this upcoming weeks and there'll be csp maps and promod servers to experiment on right now.

And with updates of Source who could tell?

YEY! DOWN WITH CS 1.6! ON WITH SOURCE! ^^

dont see how source updates would kill 1.6 :/ just like anything that gets outdated, 1.6 will still be around and people will still play it. there will be those who think source takes away too much from the simplicity of the original (here, meaning 1.6, the latest rendition) CS. there will be those that still enjoy the quirks of 1.6, and there will be those like me, just too damn lazy to go and get Source =P.

anyway, the update about 4kings have been closed. But then, my post should be in this threaf anyway, I thought I could get away if I post another thread in this section about this, I think not. Anyway:

Are you even sure that 1.6 will not die? ITS DYING!

Anyway, to tell you the truth, our Source here is bootlegged, and not only that its circa 2004, so many updates that have been done before we come to the Source we've known today. Cant we just smell the cup of coffee and Source is evolving right now?

BTW, cs promod source SUCKS! Its just only a direct emulation of Half-Life 2 engine to CS 1.6 and it didnt done by Valve.

So even without promod, which will released in March this year, the Source community and the game itself is evolving. BTW, CS 1.6 fanboys are in defensive right now and Source fans is at on offensive. WHO KNOWS? Maybe Source will be in WCG right now as an official game. And why not?

Even how much I dont like cs pro RIGHT NOW, its still CS: Source, since its in a Source engine so yeah, with Source graphics and 1.6 gameplay CS 1.6 is definitely dying!

Not that I dont like cs pro, I just dont like how they turned it into a CS 1.6 clone... WHICH IS BAD!
