a chart? ummmm... I dunno, I suppose it *could* be done. As for "publishing" to other sites, we do send out press releases, so I think we get the word out pretty well. I'm am totally blown away by the numbers we're seeing in the 2006 series poll... seems like a couple thousand people have participated ^___^

Dun you know? Hitsugaya's always a favourite character for Bleach for some reason, although his participation isn't that much. I suppose people think it's cool for a kido captain.

Well, Rei *is* here; but that's about it. No vash, no Alucard, no Guts, no Onizuka, no Kenshin.... They definitely considered series that were originally mangas (Rozen maiden and Ouran are there), so that's not the reason. The shift for the new is overhelming in newtype's ranking. I don't say it because I worked in our poll (and I'm proud on the job a-s did there), but because it is just so... obvious.

I think it's probably some small time survey... Or it is directed at the wrong people. For a normal popularity survey Naruto only got 4 votes??? Ichigo got 11 votes???
I just saw Hikaru pwned his twin Kaoru by 11 votes... or was it the other way around?

whoa, seriously? I didn't even look... man, even our 100th person had 15 votes... they must have done a write-in campaign for this survey, it seems like their polling pool is pretty small. To think that just 1 or 2 votes could propel someone 10-15 spots is ridiculous for such a large industry magazine. Don't know, don't care. but your comment on naruto seems true. Maybe it was a poll run among newtype's staff or something like that. They lack narutards. Write-in sounds like an option as wel... that woud cut the poll dramatically. _________________
Lol... looks like a fun poll, but I'm not fond of XvsY type polls. They're prone to having different results by changing the order of the matches. anyway, I do like the results for this one though (including the winner) _________________

Lots of otakus... Japanese ones and anyone who reads and recognize character names I guess.

It's about "moe". Not really about general popularity.
In my opinion, Yuki is definitely more moe than Haruhi, and possibly Mikuru.

Hehe actually if i ask friends who they think is the coolest of the captains they all answer Hitsugaya Toushirou, and than Kuchiki Byakuya.
