Ok, it is officially released now. Who is getting it? I stopped playing WoW back in October, and I've been saying I won't play the expansion set, but I decided to get it. I'm such a weak willed person...

I'm not sure which realm I'll play in, but I'll post which realm I play in once I get the Expansion and make a character. I already had some alliance characters in Duskwood and some horde in Elune. This is North America realms btw.

My brother went to the midnight release, and played till 8 in the morning. Pathetic.

I still have my WoW virginity.

It's true... it will consume your life. I haven't started playing the Expansion yet, but I'm sure I'll be into it for a while.

This pisses me off... I just installed and tried to log in and it says I still need to pay for this month's subscription! The nerve!!! I paid $56 (this is more than what I paid for the original) to buy the damn expansion set and they still charge me the first month? The original came with 1 month free play, so I assumed they'd do the same considering the price tag of the expansion...
God damn you Blizard.

Well, I started playing blood elf.
I joined a fresh new server called Ravencrest. If anyone is playing on that server or something, pm me with your character name.
BTW, blood elves are lulz. The female BE has Britney Spears dance moves and they talk like spoiled celebrity.

Not at all. Have you seen stormcraft? It has a HUGE population, my bro plays on it. My school's gamer's club hosts a private server off of our school server and we have several hundred and that's just a tiny server.

In certain dungeons, you need 40 man group of max level characters in order to beat it. Somehow, I doubt that server would have enough people who reaches 60 or higher and have enough of them playing at same time in order to organize a raid. Unless it's a very close knit community of players, I don't think it'll work out. Hmm, maybe the experience gain is lot higher on those servers to make it easy to reach 60. But, that takes away most of the goal you'd have playing the game. As I've found out with other private server games, I'd get bored of it pretty quickly.

Edit:
I've been playing a blood elf warlock. I'm doing the new quests in BE starting area. I do have a 60 warrior but I dont feel like playing that. This new character is more fun. Wink

I don't know man i'm going to university soon and ill probably get addicted to Wow even more. Luckily i'm not lvl 60 yet soo i'm still safe. All my friends who play WOW have it so its gonna be tough to resist.
