NORTON Error

Have you tried deleting from safe mode?

The file is a BHO (Browser Help Object). It runs as soon you start Internet or Windows Explorer. i finnaly was able/remembered to look at the disk and it says Norton Antivirus(tm) 2006 Rev1.0 [For Distribution With a New Acer PC]

OK now i have used the removal tool and it got rid of all the files but aol is still detecting norton for some odd reason but now aol has stopped poping up with it and the other program i got that gauges how safe my comp is and its only seeing aols virus protector so i think this is pretty much closed thanks for all of your guys help and this thread has served its purpose
