Full Metal Alchemist: Tales of Another

Based on what I've seen in the 1:03 trailer released by yeySUBS, I'm inclined to say the movie will probably be two storylines running parallel to each other, one post series and one as a side story to the series. What grabs my curiousity are two points.

One is the scene of Ed pulling a rip-cord on his automail while wearing post-series clothing. I wasn't sure if he had if automail at the end of the last episode, since his arm was entirely covered. They did show the automail arm right at the very end, but that could have been inserted just for dramatic effect. If he still has no arm, was his automail broken and did he somehow manage to overhaul it? Or has he had an improvement to it?

The other are the scenes of the Ed fighting with a green dragon. The presence of bi-planes confirm that this takes place post-series, which is my basis for thinking there will be parallel storylines. Anywho, I'm thinking the dragon looks very similar to Envy's final form when he went through the gate. So hopefully, the movie will tie up that Envy plot thread once and for all. We might even get to see (dare I say it) Envy's death.

The only thing that could make me more satisfied is finding out the origins of Gluttony.

I am a HUGE FMA fan, and have heard many things...now i shall spolierized them!

1. THat Green Dragon IS INDEED envy.
2. That Aplhonse in the armor is also envy
3. I HATE ENVY (ok..not a spoiler...)
4. Alphonse Heiderich shoots Ed
5. If you don't know who Alphonse Heiderich is..then...um..i'll explain later

Hmm if Al's still in his armor body, tat means the movie might be before the ending of the series.

The release for the movie is on 7-23. (Though other sites have said august...but that is what I think the main japanese site said. My japanese isn't that great.) They have theatre listings on the japanese website for it.

yah i bealve they started working on the movie half way throw cuz if u saw all the way throw the sires the movie couldent be posibal!!! but yah any thing fma is good in my book.

i want to know if adult swim is still showing new episodes, they took it off saturdays and the last one i saw was the one before "Teacher"

well i for one cant wait to see the full version of the full metal alchemist movie. so many questions were left un answered....plus with the trailers there were even more questions lol. god this anime is confusing but its still great lol
