Disc Troubles

well here is my problem my Age of Empires III disc 1 has become cracked in the middle extending to just about the data part of the disc i want to know if there is any way to copy it to the hard drive and just use it there by mounting it on my virtual drive>?

If you are still able to burn it, burn an image of it and use Daemon Tools to mount it. If you have Windows XP or w/e, it should have came with a burning software like Sonic Record, which is able to burn images, or if you have Nero, you can use that to burn an image also.

i atempted to rip the disc using Alchohol 120% but everytime i get sectors 5076 - 5092 are bad wat can i do to fix

if you're disc is already ruined, chances are high that any attempt to rip it to your harddrive will fail.

i'd probably go and try to find a no-cd crack. i've had a fair amount of success with that.

lol i wish i knew someone else who had the same disc. but even if i was able to find one wouldnt i need the cd-key that went with that game>?

as far as i know, cd-keys aren't specific to any one cd. as long as you can make your comp think you have a cd in a drive, virtual or not, it should play. and iirc, AoE3 is fairly old, so it's security shouldnt be that complicated.
