It is with great please and without a single doubt in my mind that I announce BakaNekoNei’s "D.N.Angel" fanart as our final winner. There are times where I have a hard time coming up with things to say for the inner, this time however I’m going to have a hard time not to write a one page rant about it. You’ve been the most active participant and we all watched you improve in our forums as well as in our contest. In my opinion, this was your best work and making it a winner was a unanimous vote by all of the judges. I’m very happy and proud to end this contest with such a great winning piece and such a great artist. Congratulations!!!

i remember seeing the first one and thinking that it was pretty good and then you made improvements on it and i really think that they helped out a lot .... i just looks a lot more ... "crisp" for lack of a better word

Congratulations on your excellent piece of art there Bakaneko. I love how the dark and light is brought together in this pic, kinda like that zing zang thing. The colours used are also amazing, congratulations again.
