I got a question.....
1.Bit Torrent can use even you have dial-up modem?
2.The many seed you connect...download will be faster? _________________ "HITSUZEN-A naturally foreordained event.

So that even as many seed can connect...there no way the bit torrent can faster? _________________ "HITSUZEN-A naturally foreordained event.

56k is 56k. The maximum speed you can get off that line in downloading would be 56 kilobits per seconds ( kb/s ) or 7000 bytes per second or 6.84 kilobytes per second.
Downloading at broadband speeds ( e.g. 512 kb/s ) is unattainable by a 56k dial up line. Sign up with a broadband provider to get a bigger bandwidth.
BitTorrent is helpless here for you if you want to download large files. Even if you use it, you will still only attain 56kb/s maximum download speed. |

| I use bitcomet and a 512kbps adsl connection, and my dl speeds are normally near the maximum (my max speed = 512/8 = 64kb/s). so for a 56k connection, the top speed would be 7kb/s. the number of seeds and leechers matter, as more of them would mean more peers to dl from. and use bitcomet as it is much faster than the usual bittorent client, it helps u optimise your internet dl rates. |

A lot of ppls would accuse the BT client of slow speeds but in most cases it's % of causing slow speeds is every low compare to the client side which is YOU ! ! ! Somethings that can affect your speed is if you are behind a firewall or router and u dont set up the proper ports to be forward. This would block remote connections to connect to you. GET BROADBAND whether it is Cable or DSL or if ur RICH bastard get T1 lol or living at a dorm at a college. so..
- Turn of XP firewall in sp2
- get a faster connection
- make sure a good amount seeds and peers are on the file
- configure the settings on the BT client to get optimal speed.
and oh yea viet-boi-in-luv looking for some BT sites to dl ... well ders
- http://www.torrentspy.com/
- http://www.lokitorrent.com/index.php gotta sign up i think
can always google for torrents |

| Well maybe someone can help me with this, the school i go to has a firewall up and i was wondering is there anyway around it what so ever? Because the only way for me to get an shows or books is to go around and find them on direct download which seems to take a very long time, so if anyone can help me i would really appreatiace it. |
