Hello Anime-Source's new fanart generation.
I hope the fanart contest gets revived into the weekly no-rules thing some year.

Anyway, these are just a few personally selected sketches and drawings I did during school. I have yet to master my own drawing style, for I feel a lot of things are definately still missing..

I drew this one in class and messed around with it with photoshop at home for colors

I should learn to have the patience to use the pen tool one day, so that my pics will actually look beter after some editing

OH MY GODDESSS? Or.. OH MY BODDHISTAVA? or... oh my heavenly deity with girly parts? ehh, i am going nuts.
The picture is pretty messy, and you can't reallly tell what's hair and what's clothing.

thnx, but I didn't really master the form and stuff yet. And my work isn't as clean as yours
And my boobs are never 3d! NEVAR!! WHY?!?!!


Milkakitty-
I didn't use pen tool, but i think i SHOULD use it. it just takes too long >_<
err.. the procedures goes:

I drew picture
I open photoshop
I goto something like "something">adjust>contrast brightness
I increase contrast, to make my pencil drawing darker
I create a new layer
I set the layer property on "color"
I add colors with a gradient and the paintbrush tool

The drawing was originally with pencil. but by simpling playing around with contrast, I can make it look like it was made with pen.

Also try using the "curves" option to mess around with brightness.

Well, it's probably too soon to even attempt it, but ViperXtreme has motivated me to start a scrap manga.

Well, I haven't even started the manga yet. I'm working out the entire plotline, characters, etc.... first. But this will be the main character for my scifi/fantasy/seinen manga that was originally gonna be called either "Contract of the Wind" or "Ballad of the Sun":

I am working on finalizing the design of her sweatshirt... cuz it's really crappy right now

Traits:
Tall, kinda manly, Mature (more than everyone around her), composed, but really weird at times as well. I would like to make her as believably human as possible though. Not trying to be cool, cute, excessive, or anything except funny through her random "weirdness". (comic relief is always a must)

I like the no glasses face better personally.

Basically, she'll be thrown into a situation where she slowly loses more and more control of her own fate. But since she's always very capable of controlling her own will, and she will have to hold onto this trait to break through her fate.

Sounds a little miyazakish... ehh, oh well, i was thinking of "miyazaki" only targetting "the mature" at the same time. Kinda like "Mushishi" i guess.... very.. like.. mushishi now that i think about it. AHH!!

oh well... so much for originality.
