BitDownload: Safe program or trap program?

I downloaded a file from Limewire and it turned out to actually be a program called BitDownload. I don't know if it is a safe program or a trap program. No guessing, I want someone who has actually tried using the program.

What were you looking for in the first place? Is it a misnamed filename? Does it have a filename "bitdownload-setup.exe"? Because according to this site, the file is bad.

By the way, you can't say it's "actually a good program" if you don't know much about it :p.
