is there any difference between calling someone in the USA and a different country?
friend moved to germany and for some reason just useing my area code wont let him call me anymore _________________ Who said the dead wouldnt rise again?!?

Of course its different! (duh!)
You have to dial country codes and then area codes and phone numbers. If you have international direct dialing, that is (some people voluntarily shut down that option with their phone companies).
The other way is to call an operator and ask for a call to wherever. But yeah, you do not call from any country to the US without a country code first. I believe the code is 001. country codes are listed in phonebooks and on the internet. _________________
