This is Dinah and Vincent from
M LeGrow's OEL manga Bizenghast (published by Tokyopop)
I got curious about how somebody with a different cultural viewpoint would make manga, and after reading the preview from Tokyopop's quarterly magazine, I decided to pick up the first volume of Bizenghast.
Despite the weird layout and scene compositions (my only complaints), I enjoyed the book enough that I'm planning to pick up the second one the next time I stop by the local bookstore.
The clothing designs in my artwork are directly from the first book since I wasn't in the mood to go intricate like the usual (that would take hours and I still got homework). I wish there's a higher resolution logo I could paste on top _________________ "please let me work"
how is ur manga ur working on XD? err.. more specifically, are u still working on it?
idont know who these two people are cuz i never heard of that manga before, but the anorexic girl freaks me out cuz she's staring at me with hunger in her eyes, and the guy looks like he's hitting on me (i dont swing that way).
I ussually go for Chinese Man Hua (manga, came before japanese manga i believe, hence the words sound the same) when i want to see something "outside of j-culture." But the stories are ussually historical shoujo/shonen/seinen (mainland), or normal shoujo (taiwan)...
story never gets too philosophical, creative, or deep or nething like GITS. But the art is always mesmerizing. _________________ GG
