what are the first type of asianz u think of?

When i hear asian first to pop into my mind is chinese (since im chinese) then Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese and Philipino ...sicne there are so many philipinos in Hong Kong...

though back in my primary days...kids at skool were not very familiar with the term 'asian' if u were asian...they would just refer you to be japanese or chinese...as there were more chinese and japanese around where i live...i used to get so infuriated

In Britain Asians are thought of as Indian...you know...the west side of Asia.....

Otherwise we say oriental or East to refer to Japan/Korea?China, etc, etc......

I guess it depend on where you live...in america I think they refer to chinese ppl when they say asian.....or so I'm told.....

First ones I think of are the japanese, for one because they created my hobby, and secondly I am japanese. Funny how that comes to mind second...

When I think of "Azns" I see some teenager who wants to be hip and sees being connected to an Oriental cultural heritage as trendy but is totally failing.
