Yep, I'm Athelas. Almost a complete noob. Bear with me.

I looooove anime, obviously, or I wouldn't be here. Some of my faves are Bleach, Trigun, InuYasha (mostly the 1st season), and Wolf's Rain... I haven't watched much more than that, but I'm working on that part of my education! Recommendations are welcome.

it's always good to see new faces around here =).

as for suggestions, some of the classics that should always be mentioned: Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Love Hina, Ah! My Goddess (all series in the franchise ^^), Neon Genesis Evangelion, any Gundam (Wing or SEED are probably most accessible). those should give you a good feel for what genres you have a taste for.

for some personal favorites not already listed above: Mushishi, Ouran High School Host Club, Great Teacher Onizuka, One Piece (really long ^^), Abenobashi~Magical Shopping District~, Samurai Champloo, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha (original, A's, and the upcoming StrikerS), Shakugan no Shana, Berserk

and some current: Code Geass, Death Note, Negima!?, Pumpkin Scissors, The Gargoyle of the Yoshinaga's

think i may have dumped a bit too much here ^^;; anyway, enjoy your stay with us and hope to see you around =)

Thanks for the recommendations! I have actually seen FLCL and Cowboy Bebop... but in English on Cartoon Network. So I don't really count those yet.

Those rules seem pretty easy to follow - I'll keep them in mind!

And you can call me whatever you like, as long as you don't call me late for dinner. Wink
