I don't see how they can fit all this into 26 epi's...I mean...for the whole story there are 13+ volumes to go through.
|
Then I hope the don't squeeze eveything down or butcher it to fit into 26 eps.
Rather I hope the do a S2 *crosses fingers* *then thinks some more and decides to cross toes too* |

I want one!
Seeing the figurines and from the eps so far, I've come to realise that a Calymore's built is pretty much the same ... same height, same body build ... no diversity, wonder if this is due to the yoma's in them? (Or maybe there is diversity but I we are not there yet in the series?) |

There will be different body types and facial features. But yeah, they do look alike to each other.
I think the most extreme case is
Jean with her slick backed hair and pointed ears and Undine with her massive muscles.
Not quite sure about height though, guess we'll see in later epi's. |

for the 26 ep, i think it's going to be okay because the anime is in a faster pace than the manga. i got worried that they were going to fast that they'll catch up to the manga. BUT if it does seem too short for a 26 ep anime, they would probably go to only a certain stage and change the ending, which we as fans would erupt and then cruse it and read the manga. lol.
Also, the sword and model is so cool!!!! i want! Oh, anyone got cosplay pictures of claymore yet? _________________ Nankurunaisa |

Yay, Irene/Ilena has showed up in epi 7! Her quick sword/flash sword is so cool XD.
Aging:
Confirmed in volume 7, Claymores don't age, only mature.
I second for some good claymore cosplay pics. I only found one while searching and it was some dude |

I'm a tad bit confused with that. If they don't age, would that mean they stop physically growing once they become a Claymore? |

No, not necessarily. You can think of the usage as mortality has been lengthened (many many times) compared to an average human being. The reason that causes average human to age is because of our cells die fast and regenerating is too slow to keep up. "Not aging" is usually associated with fast cell regeneration and that's pretty much all there is to it. It doesn't mean that every regeneration, the formation keeps on one shape. There's still more room for growth. And heck, even mutation. |

Blimey...
I was expecting some of ep. 8, but I really wasn't expecting that. That was so... brutal. I feel like I did watching parts of Elfen Lied... |
