Moonlight Mile: Synopsis and reviews
Looks like it's gonna be a pretty good show this season. In terms of animation it looks great and the action/intrigue plot looks pretty interesting as well. The preview and episode 1 really piqued my interest so I'm definitely going to follow this one.
Aonther good point is the solid effort made by Formula Subs on this release. the only glitch I found was when they spelled ISA ans International Space Agency... even though a sign on the exact ame scene says International Space Association. Well, nobody's perfect. *shrug* _________________

The sad thing is that this is the only release that will be out. According to their site, they had decided to drop this anime due to a lack of staff (translator). Hopefully another fansub group will pick this anime up.

Crap. Hopefully they'll find another translator. I hope that whatever group decides to pick up this series in formula's wake has a similar quality standard. _________________

Yeah, let's hope someone picks it up quickly. It was an interesting first ep, lots to be thinking about and pretty hard hitting at times. One problem I forsee, though, is the main characters. From the first ep alone, I already dislike them. Lostman is cold and uncompromising and Gorou is an idiot... Ah well, perhaps they'll develop them well and they'll grow on me as the season goes on.

I do hope this gets picked up by another group. Ep 1 shows a lot pf promise and it is an anime that is of a different flavour from the rest that I am currently watching.

Looks like Shinsen-subs picked this up. Really good show imo...sort of like Apollo 13 in some ways.

The series is still pretty interesting but episode 3 was too "convenient".
Goro wrote the manual for the machine Chris has an accident with. Convenient!
Goro dates Chris' sister. Convenient!
The solution is kinda baseball-related, and Chris is good at baseball. Convenient!
I don't quite like when everything is so convenient, especially in a show that tries to present itself as serious and rather realistic.
At least is not as dead boring as Planetes. _________________
