Well I must be the only person who thought this was kind of meh...

Sure it had nice art and animation, but the story was the ultimate in 'seen it all before'. These RPG to anime translations are rank with cliché. I'm starting to think they shouldn't even bother adapting them unless they really do have something new to say. I suppose there's still room for originality in this, but the initial signs (imho) aren't good.

Great music, though. The OP was especially good.

Oh, and the father character was dreadful...

The only reason I thought it was "meh" as well is because I've played the game. So, knowing what will happen sorta ruins it for me.

Hey, not bad. They actually skimmed through most of the key elements of the story (even kept Raine's lovable characteristics), and already mentioned Sheena and Zelos. Nice (shameful) battle between Sheena and Kratos as well.

Yeah, I'm satisfied now. =)

haven't played the game.. but this is making me think of trying it out... Very Happy

but with regards to the 4th (final??) installment of the OVA...

WTH!? that did not bring me any closure at all... Confused

oh well... it was a nice watch until-...
