I usually react according to the vibe i get from them or their situation..everyone has a different method to cope with their probs, some guys just want someone to be there for them, others wants to be held, or some may just want to be left alone. It really depends on the person and how well u know them Usually what i would do to is be by their side and let them either cry or vent to me

if ur asking for something materialistic then i would say to get them something useful..like a watch, ipod, or cook them some food

first thing i notice in a girl....would be her eyes lol ( i have an eye fetish..>_<), then its her smile, personality (how she reacts to other people and such) and finally her hair (unless her hair is a really bright color then that would be the first thing i'll look at LOL )

1) it can be kind of cute when i'm only interested in friendship. but quickly turns to insanity inducing fury when i get serious about a relationship.
2) a pretty situational question. most of my crying comes from physical pain, so just be nice and let me heal up in that case. emotional pain will probably need 1 of 2 things, time/space to myself or someone to just cuddle up with until i fall asleep.
3) i definately prefer productive stuff when it comes to material gifts. but i also have a soft spot for cute things like trinkets and plushies.
4) quite honestly, the first thing i notice about a girl, 90% of the time, is her rack. i blame most of this on my poor eyes as the most important physical feature to me is the face. _________________

One of my class mates in my film studies class acted like a selfish, inconsiderate, little brat today *mutters* stupid bitch; so my answer is possibly going to be influenced by todays events:
1. at times, when you want to be playfull or want to tease, but not when something serious is going on, because most of the time I haven't got a frickin' clue what's going on with the girls around me. eg. friend started acting aggresivly one day and I naturaly acted the same way to counter-attack - hurt a feeling or two - turned out, and I only found out later, that it was that time of the month for her and hence the attitude...
2. just give the bloke a hug! He'll be, or at least should be, to absorbed in his own grief to notice anything anyway.
3. Unless he's a materialistic spoiled brat, get him anything you can find; hell! it can be something you picked off the road (admitadely he'd most likely throw it away), as long as it came from you and you actually put some thought and effort into it, and that shows, it'll go down great. At least, that goes for me. It pisses me off when people ask me what I want for my b-day!!!
4. ah hell! If someone says that ALL men only look at boobs first I will have to resort to the most desperate of measures. Yes thats right! I will flood you with pms full of SPAM (and I'm not talking about the edible kind)!!!! No. The first thing I look at is a girl's hair. If its blonde I will most likely shout out and throw mud at her....or a custard pie, but those are for angel. _________________

keeping a guy on his toes about the relationship? i would think that it is necessary sometimes so that the guy doesnt think he has the girl on a leash. because when guys feel that they have power over a girl, i think thats just not right. but im not like that, ive had a girl do this to me one time and it drove me crazy. i would wanna know if she likes me straight up tho.
if a guy cries in front of u and its for a good reason (grandma dies, friend dies, has to move, etc.) then i guess comfort him. i remember i cried in front of my exgf cuz i had to move and it felt really good to have her hug me. i was surprised that she still cared for me even tho we had broken up the day before. altho i wish i never cried in front of her i prolly looked like such a sissy.
the best gift u can give a guy isss probablyyyyy..... hmm im not sure but something that tells him u like him, or maybe something he really likes. one time i recieved a stuffed bear animal that she made at build-a-bear. when u squeeze the hand it would say "i love u i love u" lol! so funny but it was a very sweet gift.
