aww, sorry to hear that. I hope something better or more solid has come up for you. I'm willing to meet up with anyone who wants to come to Japan, even offer crash space, so if you still want to see the country, it's something to consider.

Glad to hear things went well. Basically it was that I didn't really want to go to university in the first place, atleast not yet. For the moment, there's a chance I may wind up going to Italy for a little bit during the summer.
More or less what's going on with me is that I'm aiming for the Canadian navy (yes yes, we have a navy too), and seeing as you need to have a bachelor's degree at the very least to be an ALT (atleast with JET), I can't do that for the next few years. Though rest assured, I will go to Japan sometime in my life, that I want to do. In fact, I have a friend who left for Japan at the very end of April, he's there till the end of July. Lucky bastard. <_<
