|
|
Hello,
I hope this doesn't sound too stupid but yesterday i cleaned my computer.
No biggie as always but then when I tried to watch my avi video's I downloaded. I could only hear sounds and no image at first I thought I downloaded the wrong file but some older vid's that i had already watched aren't working either.
Did I by mistake delete a certain program that is essential for watching video's?
And how do I resolve this?
I hope someone can help me out.
Thanks in advance! |

you may have accidentally touched some codecs.
http://www.cccp-project.net <-i recommend going there and grabbing that. it's a package that includes all the codecs you need to watch just about anything anime. it doesnt cover everything tho, so if you're still getting problems, you may have to find the right codec for that. cccp also comes with, what i consider, the two best video players, MPC and VLC. i use MPC. _________________

You download CCCP. Than install it on your computer.
And than your done... All you have to do is open your mediaplayer of choice and play anime. I would suggest using Media Player Classic. _________________ [IMG:430:120:e3eaef3cc8]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s100/Sephi2K7/Signature/Yurisigv1b.jpg[/img:e3eaef3cc8] |

just run it. it automatically installs. you wont have to worry about setting any options unless you know what you want, in general, the setup is good to go as is. after you've finished installing, right-click on your video files and choose "Open With..." then "Browse" for \Combined Community Codec Pack\MPC\mplayerc.exe. select it from the menu and check the "Always open these types of file with this program" box. _________________
