Up till episode 17...
-The two Idiot Bros are up to no good again, but Deianeira stops them from messing things up again. Even Age is there to stop them.
-Mehitaka's diet is pretty interesting, especially when it involves a irritated Iolaus about the 'something more important than a lover'. Aneesha might be feeling bemused regarding this, friend. 
-Build up to war between Bronze and Iron, with Yuti apparently given the order to set forth and fight Age. Oh dear.
Seems like the old formula to me, but somehow Heroic Age has yet to bore me terribly.

yaa..for some reason heroic age has become one of current favs of the line-up i'm watching .. i'm quite surprised too seein as i was very skeptical (sp?) during the first few episodes .. only staying with the series out of vague curiousity ..
i'm sooo glad i kept at it .. ^_^ |

I must say that I watched it expecting a normal/boring mechha anime but was quite pleased with it.
After 20 episodes, the story still moves at an interresting pace, the animation is... okay, but the music... man what a good soundtrack. Defenitly a good space opera.
Cheesy, yet there's a definite quality to Heroic Age that I haven't seen in a while.

ahhh!
so the first nodos has died and it what was in his contract has been followed..
can't wait to see how this is played out ... especially with yuti .. she lost the one whom she had feelings for and (though i doubt it'll get stressed at all) .. she escaped mental chaos .. i would imagine now that there can't be anyway besides an all fight between yuti and age for her revenge ..
heroic age is close to the episode bracket of a first season .. and though it could be slightly rushed i could also see it ending in a few more episodes .. (though i hope not) ..
with the series still be "unknown" for the length i hope to see it go longer to flesh all aspects out .. but as i mentiond above .. with what's going on and what's already happened .. i can easily see it all come to an end in a couple more episodes .. = / |

After watching ep21 betting this one is 26 long. I hate even touching a spoiler, too worried to ruin it for others). But wow! really changes the storyline, the art is impressive and the character interaction is not as deep as I like but more than enough for a short run
Cannot put my finger on why I enjoy this series so much, but every week I cannot wait for it's release. |

wow just watched 24 and was amazed.
though
thought for sure Yuti/Cerebreus was going to kill off Rome Ro, not go directly into mental choas
cannot wait for the next episode! |

ya!!
was almost certain that the "rescue" was going to be them actually rescuing yuti from rome ro .. not rescuing her from mental chaos (what i assume they're going to do in the next episode) ..
can't wait either for the next episode!!! |

I have to agree, Heroic Age really is one of the most exiting things of the moment, but over way to soon, only 26eps, right?

Nice and happy ending, of the silver tribe, taking most of the bronze tribe and leaving  . What i dont get is at the end, is Age coming back, or is he taking the princess with him away?

what it seemed to me was that the the iron tribe had always meant to cross the gateway sooner or later .. just that the silver tribe went first ..
but what did confuse me .. is why the gateway disappeared just after age and the princess left .. considering the princess is pretty much the only one who can locate these gates (in one form or another) .. the rest of the human race is kinda stuck ..
the only other thought i have is that .. with the powers of the silver tribe passed down to the iron tribe .. (and with the princess now gone) .. it's up to the the remainder of the human race to find the path to join the silver tribe .. age .. and deineira (sp?) ..
all in all .. though i would have wished for a slightly better ending (i mean come on age was shown for like 1 min and not even a full shot of him!!!) .. i'm still satisfied with it .. as well as the series as as whole...

you never see age and the princess going through the second gate...alls you see is them embracing...and then the gate disapears...they never went through...
edit: ok..they are not embracing (at least not all the way, but you can imaging them doing it any second...)
but they are still not going through the gate..

maybe it's just me .. but it seems to me with the camera angle as well as how the lighting is and the timing of the disappearance of the gate right after she reaches and age and grabs his hand .. i assume that he pulled her across to the other side .. not that they're just standing there hugging or whatever .. age WAS floating .. if he was indeed simply coming back to her i would have thought he would be on the ground (or in the water in this case) while she went after him .. but here we have age above her .. and her reaching up to him ..
but all in all .. since there's obviously no way for sure to find out what actually happened ... you can take the ending as you like it .. |
