Yep, it is little Akane in her own show. Unlike KGNE which I decided against watching due to its concept, this show is more of a school romance comedy of a frivolant nature which was more acceptable to me. The first OAV was very funny to me ( more on the part of Gouda, the male lead ).

The 3rd and final OAV should be out next year...

lol.. ya.. the show is pretty messed up even if not compared to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. The guy is one of the biggest and annoying retards i've seen. The teachers are nice however Rolling Eyes

Yes it is, more so if your heart and mind is absent of any attachments to *that* ( Rolling Eyes

) anime series.

It is a straight out comedy with spoofs abound. Just watch an idiot try to chase the girl of his dreams and laugh at his pathetic attempts to do so Laughing

Treat it as just a series on its own ( heck, that is what I did since I resolved against and watched zero episodes of *that* series anyway ) and you would likely enjoy it.

This is just based on the first OVA and we have nothing to know of the second and third. For all we know, the genre might change for the remaining two parts.
