Ok, well a week or something ago I saw a thread made by sweet__hime
that asked some stuff about what a guy notices about a girl, what girls should do in certain situations, and stuff like that. So...I figured why not make one for girls to say what they think guys should do in certain situations and stuff like that. Very Happy

These questions are just suggestions. You can pretty much post what you want as long as it relates to the topic somehow.

1. What is the first thing you notice about a guy?

2. Do you believe in that belief of a guy needs to be tough and not show any of his emotions if it may make him look weak.

3. What is a good gift for a guy to get a girl.

4. How can a guy know if a girl likes him or not. On the other thread, there was a question about keeping a guy guessing, so in other words...what are some ways a guy could tell if a girl was trying to do this.

5. What is the quality that you think most girls look for in a guy.

I would like to note that this thread is not just for girls, so guys you can answer to.

Hmmm...looks like no one has helped you yet, guess I'll lend some of my thoughts.

1. What is the first thing you notice about a guy?
The first thing that I would say that I notice about a guy is their smile and eyes.

2. Do you believe in that belief of a guy needs to be tough and not show any of his emotions if it may make him look weak.
I think it's hot when guys show some of their emotions, and plus guys are still human.

3. What is a good gift for a guy to get a girl.
I don't know why, but I love anything made out of glass. A cup, a mirror, a window!!!, LoL, I just love glass.

4. How can a guy know if a girl likes him or not. On the other thread, there was a question about keeping a guy guessing, so in other words...what are some ways a guy could tell if a girl was trying to do this.
Depends if you're interested in her. If you are then you should hint to her that you do, then she'll want to keep you guessing. To tell that she likes you, you should look at her smile and how she uses her eyes. If she looks at you a certain way and smile the cutest smile ever, a smile that she hardly uses then you know that she likes you.

5. What is the quality that you think most girls look for in a guy.
I look for guy who's not afraid to laugh at himself and who I can laugh at and with. That's the biggest quality that I look for in a guy.

Guys are human too, so they can cry and show emotions (even if it is girly Laughing

) having it cooped up inside is bad for your heath.

Anything that is meaningful and the guy had put some thought into it. Although jewellery is always a good choice ^_~
I would personally prefer if he got me my anime and manga Very Happy

If they flirt back I s'pose... (not always the case)

ah crap; I thought the title of this thread was along the lines of "girls aplenty over her"....pity

now that I'm here I might as well make a fool of myself and answer the questions in true loner fashion:

1. I pretty much look at his size and attitude to determine whether or not he's likely to pose a threat to me

2. ah hell knows

3. flowers goddamnit! Stick with the roses; a different colour for each girl: pink, yellow, red etc. though I've never given a black one away before

4. ....you could always punch her.....if she forgives you then technically she has the hots for you

Questions themselves aren't bad, but the key point in such situation is who is asking. Sorry, male should never ask these questions openly.
I don't say that he shouldn't care what girl wants, I say that he should care in bitter more estetic way.
Asking a girl what she likes is good, but asking them in general way as you did is out of borders.

If you would say that this thread is for girls to discuss about guys, what they like about them, dislike, and whatever else they want to speak about them, I won't be able to say anything, but you concretized the questions to specific points and here I must say that it wasn't good step. I don't want indoctrinate you, but my honour and ideals are forcing me to stand on side I think that is moral and fight against anything that isn't of good manners.

I too over-reacted when I sent my previous reply. Sorry and take my excuse. I have nothing against you.

EDIT: Sayoku (post below) got it in one sentence. ^-^ Yeah, I'm old fashioned in these things thus for me it seemed be rude.

i think the questions are perfectly fine, maybe from some conservative, old fashion point of view it could be a little rude, but try to keep an open mind, its really just for fun.

looks like me and TLB are the only guys in here spying on the girls, haha. We're taking notes. I've only been single for like 3 months, but it seems like a lifetime. I guess I'm trying too hard, but it seems harder and harder to be able to tell what girls want these days. I guess I'm not looking in the right places.

Hmm, do they want just a stone or a man? Show them that you're a human. Don't keep them in their emotions alone.

3. What is a good gift for a guy to get a girl.
This is different for each girl. This can't be generalize. Flowers are good step if you don't know at first (and hope that she isn't allergic), then try to get know what exactly your girl like the most. Here you can ask her, but great idea is suprise her. This means don't ask directly but get this information from innocent sentences or if you walk with her through city/market/whatever just look what she's doing, on what she's watching, what is attracting her. She'll surely evaluate how attentive you are.

4. How can a guy know if a girl likes him or not. On the other thread, there was a question about keeping a guy guessing, so in other words...what are some ways a guy could tell if a girl was trying to do this.
For example:
- Does she like eating from your plate?
- Is she looking in your eyes? (people are often changing their sight during longer conversations and doesn't stay looking in eyes for long)
- Are her reactions exaggerated when it comes on you?

These are from my own experiences. One girl on school was eating from my plate (I was even feedïng her by my fork - she said she's lazy to go for her own ^-^), when I promised her an ordinary help with physics, she huged me in front of whole class. She then reacted exaggerately several times, always just because of me, never because of anybody else. I didn't see it in that time. After few years when we was out of school already I got to know that she loved me. Poor her.

5. What is the quality that you think most girls look for in a guy.
Somebody whom they can believe (that he'll keep his word and also that he'll protect them).
Somebody who'll listen to them and share their thoughts and feelings.
Somebody with whom they would feel simply good.
As is said: "The best friend is the one with whom you can sit on a bench without any words, and you'll have feeling that it was the best conversation in your life."
