This one also reminded me of Noir right away. But, I'm really getting tired of this whole quiet mysterious young girl character archetype. I hope this series offers something new, otherwise its just another recycled series.

Ha, well not really. Revi's awesome in her own way but it's nice to have the change. The whole idea of gun-wielding female character just put those expectations there. |

What did you all think when the guy taping Ellis was getting a little too happy during the fire scene? Heh, we also find out that Nadie seems to be working with a spy/traitor within the organization. Or was that indicated in the first epi? Maybe I'm a bit slow, lol.

Ep 4:
Lol, the placed an advertisment for Noir in this ep.
I feel their stroy telling method is strange. The story is moving forward based on narration and not really on things happening in the episode.
Also funny that they have told us what Ellis is by the 4th episode.
I wish they would give more info via the animation itself and not use narration.

that spy/traitor you speak of is:
Jody "Blue-Eyes" Hayward... the nerdy financial auditor... Nadie plainly says "Blue Eyes" in her phone call
I wanna know what's up with the Ellis/L.A. orgasm thing going on. I don't know if it's sexy or creepy.

haha, I guess we need to be looking for a "Madlax" billboard somewhere.... or at least a "Madhouse" one since studioes... especially Madhouse, like to sneak their names in their anime

just be glad that they met so early... unlike Madlax where they waited until like the 20th episode to finally unite the two lead characters.
As for the narrator... who knows, maybe he'll be a real person in the anime soon.

| If it's for ep 4 then I think its all Hayward but if it is earlier eps then yes, I think we have had other people voice the narration. |

i liked the ending..
though i didn't like how everything kinda ended in the 2nd to last episode with not all the questions .. well .. ansewered .. but the very last episode that showed nadie and ellis and how they were living after the events ..
what ellis chose actually totally surprised me .. i would have totally guessed that they would continue living there .. especially when they showed nadie crying (which was TOTTALLLYYYY touching btw) ..
maybe a chance for more? lol probably not given there's nothing really else to expand on .. but ah well ..
and there ends another series .. i think i'll re-watch noir now .. lol |

Yay! It ended 
Nooooo! This show can't have another season, it's first season is tragedy enough.
When will I ever learn to stop watching shows just because they are marketed to be Noir like?
Sigh! Where's my Noir DVDs
But I do agre on the last ep, I do like how they ended it and did not expect
Nadie to cry either.
