Synopsis & reviews
A collaboration from the creators of Kanon 2006, and Da Capo, this new series came out on April 7. So far after watching the first episode, i love the opening song and the as usual the animation is top notched. So what does anyone think of this new series? |

| I agree the opening song is really good, and I'm not a really big fan of them in the first place. Also, the animation is great too. Looking forward to the coming episodes. Thanks Orunge for starting the review. |

| So far, I'd have to say I'm impressed with the anime. Admittedly is only after 1 episode so its too soon to tell. Humor and action, with a dark theme. |

nothing much to go on since its just the first episode...
but it did manage to keep me interested enough to watch the second episode once it comes out... 
erm.. is this another game turned anime???

Surprisingly, no.
The writer is one of the people who worked on Kanon, but this one was never a game. This is the original incarnation.
Looks like it will be rather nice. Nothing groundbreaking, but I liked ep 1.
Well, I wonder why Matsuri likes to drink tomato juice and doesn't come out during the day... Geez, I've never heard of something similar before.
lol... Still She seems harmless enough... How come someone is after her neck? Her profile seems low enough to keep her off any hunter's radar.

| coming into the first episode knowing absolutely nothing about this series i was pleased..seeing what i first thought to be just some other type of romance series...i was surprised to see how the episode ended and can't wait to find out more about this as it goes on for the 11 episodes remaining.. |

The Characters in this anime somewhat reminds me of Canvas 2
And BTW who the hell IRL would be so obsessed with the sky?!!
I mean, he always looks at the sky, then when he has to do something, a certain moment, like a sunset, appears and then stops doing his work just to capture that certain scene over and over again?

It's the same as asking someone why the hell he would ditch work first just to watch anime of a same genre again.  Sometimes obsessions can't be explained using logic.
I'm impressed with the first episode. It was quite a break from the new animes so far this spring, since it has a pleasantly slow pace except for the action scene at the end. Other than that, I was impressed by the voice acting of Mamiko Noto and Nobuhiko Okamoto as well as Nakahara Mai. Goes to show that Mamiko Noto isn't just one suited entirely for soft-spoken character roles.
Speculation:
I don't know if there can be some parallel drawn between Aono and Matsuri. Both of them apparently have an aversion to light, I believe, though perhaps for different reasons. Funny how Matsuri has the same photo as what Yorito took of the sunset.

One thing that I love though: The animation and graphics quality of this anime is completely awesome. I will definitely be waiting for the next eps to be coming in.
In the end, the makers of the anime is also the maker of my 2 favourite anime on my list xD

the sky is very interesting and it does change alot! but probally he pretends to look at the sky while lying down, but in reality looking up people's skirt like he did to mana
anyway i cant wait for episode 2 to come out! |

As for the juice and aversion to sunlight, while that says something it's kinda of runs into conflict that she is staying at a church... hmm.
Tis episode gives out different vibes at different times. It feels like a ramance then slice of life then errr...action kinda thingy.
Any idea what this show is about?  Or rather what genre it falls into? |

According to AnimeNewsNetwork, it's a romance anime, though if our assumptions about Matsuri prove to be even half-correct, I think adding in supernatural into the mix won't be too much to ask for.
In any case, I'm surprised little people here have taken it upon themselves to mention a little Rozen reference...
The Rozen lookalike Mayuko, who meets with the hunter to probably get at Matsuri.
