And this one is from my character design, well...I need to 'revive' my story back >_<...well...
She's my original Miyuki from my own characters set ^_^...Well, in TO or Lunia...you'll see me as KawaiiMiyuki since I like this character much =D
Done with blue pen again =3...~

haha you have no idea how much everyone hates you! you are very good!
you have the most important aspect/concept/wuteverthecorrectterm down, drawing characters in motion, angle, and posing. (or at least i think so because i can't do any of that).
But I can tell you really like Shuffle! =D
great works! Hope to see future colored pieces!

Anyway...I'll create a manga based on my own characters set. And after discussed with my friends and my mentor...begin to outline the story ^_^...
/heh...I'm bad in writing tho...lol
So...the plots[spoiler intensive...lol]:-
- Karen, Miyuki and Alyssa are the another descendant from the magical family descendants.
- Their parents got killed @ time Karen = 12y.o [as I sketched, thats one scene, draft of it], Miyuki = 10 y.o, and Alyssa 8y.o
- Their father side have some "dark" blood in them.
- Miyuki have the "dark" elements in her, thus she have "multiple personalities complex", and her power is kinda unstable compared with her sisters.
- Apparently, another "dark" magic user/clan spotted the "dark" elements in Miyuki...
- so...whats gonna happens next? Stay tuned =3...

hm...
/sketched something fresh out of my mind, without any references or such...lets see...

Anyway, its been ages since I used photoshop to create sigs and such @_@...if you guys noticed...
Anyway, just wanna get some comments and suggestions, so I can at least "improve some more"

maybe you can give me advice? Although, im drawing with a mouse and from strach on photoshop i noticed that you have also been coloring with photoshop on some of your art. I'm still new at photoshop so maybe you can help me :3
I also enjoy drawing on paper, maybe ill post some up later. I'll look forward to ur other works.

Work on proportions and symmetry. I feel that you have not drawn too may pictures and need more experience.
Try both genders, different expressions, different character sizes, foreground/background arts, drawing at different sizes, try to use different drawing styles (ex.: try to draw different characters from different animations or manga), etc...
One of the more important things you need to work on is your perspective changes and settings, and perhaps some work on 3D background can give you some idea of what I mean...
That last time I've been in an art studio... mmm so long ago...
EDIT: This is all constructive criticism, because I like what you're doing and because I was at that kind of stage once (I was slightly different, as I was younger and thus draw mainly male characters... to the point where I made little flip books in the back of the classroom during tutoring sessions...)
You have more control than I do, but your problem is that you make edges sharp when not necessarily need, and some parts could be done without repetition... Uh... causes some weird unbalance in the face and some patterns and restricts your style a bit... let go a little maybe. It's hard to help without seeing you drawing... |
