watching anime on ipod??

can any help me here pls... i cant seem to watch anime or anything on my ipod..my freinds has the same one as me..exactly the same...but they can watch stuff... they wont tell me how... any1 know?

you need to convert your anime files into an iPod friendly format. having not iPod myself (all you 4gb's can suck my 20gb Zen =P), i've never really delved into this field. i'm sure google will turn up many results, or just wait for one of our friendly members around here, i'm sure at least one of em know how.

most anime i dl to my comp is in .Avi format, if mem serves me correctly, Ipod doesnt suppost the .Avi format of video, if u wish to use it, i do belive you have to change it to Mpeg...which will cause the file to grow, and take up more space then usual...

oh well, if u want it that badly, i guess haveing one or two less vid's on ur ipod isnt going to stop you

search for 1) info on what video format iPods accept and 2) a video converter that can create the supported format. last i heard, there are a few freeware programs available, if not, stick a name here and maybe the shadier side of the net might be able to turn up something.
