Guitar Hero II for 360 (Or any system)

Yes I'm totally hooked. I use to watch people play this game at the game shop. The first thing that came to mind was what a dork. How fun could that be?

Ok so now I'm the dork and I'm addicted to it. Since I've purchased the game I can't stop playing it. Right now I'm trying to get 5 gold stars on easy and on medium. I also can't wait for the download content for this in the 360. We will get new songs.

I find myself having more respect for Guitar players now. I'm also noticing the different rifts in rock music and find myself thinking WOW that would be hard to pull off. I find myself looking at music from a whole new point of view. It is so refreashing finding a game like this.

The other thing that has changed for me. I use to think "yeah Gears of war was a good choice for game of the year". Now I think differently. Had the poeple who created this game made it for the 360 from the get go I think game of the year would have been Guitar Hero II.

I was thinking it would be some time before they release more music. I'm hoping they release some Metallica songs, Paint it Black, and It's My Life to name a few. I would also like to see new stuff like from Korn, Queens of the stone age, and Seether. There is some much they could do with this.

I just wanted to know the reaction of others to this game.

There's a Queens of the Stone Age song on the first one, and so far, I haven't seen any repeat appearances.

I really enjoy part 2. It doesn't quite capture the fun of the original (because it was so new), but the added co-op mode is great and I have a lot of fun learning the bass/rhythm guitar parts.

I personally find the x-plorer controller fret buttons to be a bit easier to hammer-on/pull-off with than the default ps2 part 1 controller. Maybe it's just me, but I still struggle with some of the later Face Melters, especially Bark at the Moon, but have been able to progress relatively easy in part 2.

Skipped easy and medium, am in 2nd to last set of Hard. The only bad thing is splitting time with my bro.
