whats ur favorite super robot? is gundam and macross considered a super robot?

Someone needs to play Super Robot Wars, and get Ryusei's explanation of the difference between the 2.

Maybe he goes over it in the the first episode of Divine wars... been awhile since I saw that.

Basically Super Robots can ignore Physics...

Real Robots & Super Robots
This is for you

Super Robot(AKA Sentai Robots) 101:

*Pilots are usually Hot Blooded with a strong sense of justice
*Usually Relies More on brute Strength and Massive Weapons
*Usually Pilots have an echo in their voices when in action
*Low Dodge and Mobility
*High Accuracy (in-game its the opposite but the pilots Have an SP for accuracy)
*Ignores Physics( Nice one Red ^^)
*Due to Massive body Structure Some Super Robots have numerous pilots
*The only Gundam that was categorized as Real "slash" SUper Robot is
The God Gundam of Domon Kashuu

Some Ex:
Raideen
Combattler V
Dancougar
Daizengar
SRX
Zabbangel
Mazinkaiser

Real Robots:
*Pilots are usually has these kinds of attitude
-Wierd and Energetic
-Cool And Nihilistic
-Cold And Silent
*Relies on Skills
*Normal Voice in Battle
*High Dodge, High Accuracy, High Concentration
*Smaller than Super Robots

Some Ex:
*Geshupenst
*Hukeibein
*almost Gundams (Btw GUNDAM is an acronym)
*Elgaim
*Bilbine
*Dunbine
*Valkyries (Macross)

... Small point but the Lagann is CLEARLY a super, and it is also quite small.

and I believe the fairlions are also supers. Some supers just have insane dodge.

But the defining factor is the ability to ignore/create your own physics.

Fin Funnel
Bit
Incom

Incom's can also be used by non-Newtypes

These thingamajigs are often shot from the back

My Favorite of all 4 weapons are the Fin-Funnels

two major super robots i know of are Voltes V and Daimos...

Daimos being my personal fave over voltes V cause of the massive array of cooler weaponry like the double blizzard which upgraded to a fire blizzard... and that baton belt

for gundams the only super robot i would consider is probably Gundam The God... since there is not much explanation behind his uber strongness.. and maybe a few elements of the Double X gundam with its devastating firepower...
