This was a piece done for the yearly #mtad calendar. Yeah, non-Ichigo 100% art, I know.... The month I was working on was September. Here are the steps from blue pencil to finished cg that I thought I'd share.

Were the maple leaves custom drawn or brushed on with a pattern?

heh, dating sim CGs are a great learning resource for learning to CG for me. Probably why my CG style resembles the art in some of those game.

To answere your question, the maple leaves were done with one of the pattern brushes in photoshop. I'm too lazy to draw each individual leaf . Razz

Oh well, lovely picture.

I love your CG colours as always, Her face expression is a bit weird but stilll a lovely picture. I especially love how the hair and plaid skirt turned out.

Very nice cg art, i like the hair and the eyes of the girl, and the background details. Her facial expression is a bit awark though.

He this i realy like three several drawings the starting,ready,and last the collour thats what i like Very Happy

if you do it like this you can see how people draw,at the same time It helps you with your own drawings.

yes ... it is very good ... i would have to say that i personally don't like the face ... but the background is what really stands out to me anyway ... it's very nice Very Happy

I'm not a fan of this style of CG coloring but good job nonetheless.
The background is pretty nice. You've got good skill in getting the perspective right, though the girl looks like she's not properly aligned with it.
Also, as the others said, there's something not quite right with her face.

i think the left eye is a litte to fare away and a little to small.

i have just lookt on your site i realy like the drawings in your sketchbook a lot of nice types there.

Yeah, the picture is nice, I esp. like the background. As for the the face, it's really not that bad. Anyway, keep it up, you can do it! Really nice cg art!!!!

Yup, I wonder why you never participate in the FanArt Contest. It is very nicely drawn, especially the color combination. It really fits perfectly into the picture. The lighting is also good throughout. Nice work on the colours, da_MiGHTy_pLUm.

The picture proportion is also nice, not too large and not to small also. Face, body and also background proportion is very good. Yup, I agree with most people here. The face design is a bit awkward, but nice. If you can make the face a bit longer, it may look better. Of course, I might be wrong.

Overall, Cool

Cool picture!!! And one thing, it fits into my picture of "cute girls". This makes a good wallpaper Wink

the eye-patch smiley is kind of a little personal tag of mine I use, sometimes with the slogan "die with a smile" attached to it.
