Bumping this thread to the front for no good reason; merely to say that I am having a lot of fun watching this series. It is certainly not the greatest out there, but it is most entertaining. Cool action, some comedy, just what the doctor ordered now that my other current shonen show (bleach) is in an angst-ridden, uninteresting filler stage.

And I love Ayano.

It is a pleasant show with quite a few memorable characters. Although the original plot of the story, or what they made it seem like in the first episode or two has changed around a little too quickly if you ask me.

I think the original plot, or what I though was going to be the plot, with Kazuma hating the Kannagi clan was flipped around far too quickly. I mean, one episode he is cursing the entire family, then the next he is the hired bodyguard/payed hitman for that exact family. Though I guess that just shows he never "hated" them as much as he says he does.
Not sure if that would be considered a spoiler or not so I covered it just in case ^___^

Other then that, I really enjoy the series and definitely hope it keeps the interesting storyline going.

i seen the episodes up to four and the whole time im think is when are going to show him meeting that little girl from epi 3... i think... because that kinda explains how he got to be a contractor..

im really waiting for that..

I've watched the first few episodes and so far I haven't been too impressed. I'm not at all implying that the show sucks though. I think that the highlight so far for me was when Kazuma beat the shit out of his father. The story IMO is alright so far, but does it get any better after the 4th Ep.

yeah, funny thing about the naming.. and on ep15 they were eating at a "WcDonald's".. i wonder if they were purposely trying to get its sponsorship.. or they were planning to but it chose a different anime to represent them.

Season one has finished with a sluggish ending. Nothing gained, nor lost but interesting none-the-less. Really wish they took it a step farther, push the viewers desire to see the next season with some sort of annoying cliffhanger.

In my opinion, this show could have been much better. It had an interesting storyline and concept, as well as well rounded characters (for the most part). Instead of doing something with the story though, they left it at a pretty stale position in the end with little character development.

i was disappointed with this ending...although IF they are comming out with a second season/series, then hopefully ayano will graduate from highschool, and maybe change the plot around where kazuma was adopted or something so this way the anime wont have a hidden theme of "keeping it in the family"
